I was in the clinic five months ago. I'm still waiting for my results. So far, I've only received the blood test results. The values, including the lipo-a level, were very negative. I was also diagnosed with extreme insulin resistance. Statins were recommended. I was very worried. Back in my hometown, I went to see a diabetologist twice and had blood tests done twice within three weeks. She wanted to repeat the tests because she couldn't believe it. LDL cholesterol was normal and lipo-a was below the detection limit. No insulin resistance was detected. How is that possible?
